BOXBERG, Germany - Robert Bosch GmbH and Denso Corp. have formed a joint venture to develop software and hardware for a worldwide navigation system.
A team of 50 employees from the two auto suppliers will work on the project. Each company will market its system separately.
Bernd Bohr, a member of Bosch's board of management, says the joint venture takes Bosch to the next step of innovating "driver assistance" technology.
