DETROIT - Dura Automotive Systems Inc. of Rochester Hills, Mich., has agreed to buy Creation Group, a designer and manufacturer of doors and windows, for $57 million.
Heywood Williams Group PLC owns Creation Group, of Elkhart, Ind. It had 2002 revenues of $145 million and has about 1,100 employees at 10 sites in Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Dura makes driver control systems, seating control systems, engineered assemblies, structural door modules and integrated glass systems for the automotive industry.
