BATTLE CREEK, Mich. -- Denso Manufacturing Michigan Inc. plans a $9 million expansion at its plant in Battle Creek's Fort Custer Industrial Park.
The 92,000-square-foot expansion at the north end of the plant will provide space for new aluminum radiator and aluminum heater core lines. With the addition, plant space will total more than 1 million square feet.
Denso Corp., of Kariya, Japan, supplies thermal, powertrain control, electronic/electric systems, small motors, telecommunications, industrial and environmental systems to the automotive industry. Denso International America Inc. in Southfield, Mich., is Denso's North American headquarters.
