MIDLAND, Mich. - Dorothy "Dottie" Ross, a former president of the Automotive Hall of Fame, died June 4. She was 82.
Ross was the first full-time employee of the Automotive Hall of Fame and is credited with spearheading the building of the organization's first permanent facility, in Midland, Mich.
Ross joined the Automotive Hall of Fame in 1963 as an administrative assistant and was president when she retired in 1985. The Hall of Fame moved to Dearborn, Mich., in 1997.
A gravesite service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on June 14 at the Midland Cemetery, 3017 Orchard.
