Shipments of conversion vehicles in April fell 17.7 percent, compared to April 2002, as all three categories within the segment posted declines.
SUV conversions took the biggest hit for the month, down 33.3 percent. Van conversions were off 18.2 percent.
For the first four months of this year, conversion vehicle shipments are up 1.0 percent, buoyed by gains in SUV and pickup shipments.
Motor home shipments fell 7.0 percent in April, compared to April 2002. The Class A category saw shipments decline 5.9 percent for the month.
Motor home shipments are up 1.0 percent for the year to date.
