Shipments of motor homes in March were up 1.8 percent compared with March 2002.
The slight uptick was driven by a 2.6 percent increase in Class A motor homes, which made up the majority of shipments.
Class B and Class C shipments were unchanged from March 2002 levels.
Motor home shipments for the first three months of the year were up 4.3 percent.
Conversion shipments in March were down 10.5 percent from year-ago levels. Van conversions, which fell 19 percent, were responsible for the drop.
Van conversions made up the majority of conversion shipments in March.
Pickup conversions rose 16.7 percent, bucking the segment's downward trend.
SUV conversions remained unchanged from year-ago levels.
Conversion shipments for the first quarter rose 8.9 percent.
