Saturn on Wednesday said its Ion quad coupe 2 with manual transmission will have an MSRP of $14,595. Pricing includes destination and freight fees totaling $565.
The quad coupe 2 with a variable transmission will sell for $15,495. All quad coupe 2s will have air conditioning and a CD player as standard equipment.
The quad coupe 3 with a manual transmission will have an MSRP of $16,095. The quad coupe 3 with a continuously variable transmission will cost $16,995.
All prices include desitnation and freight fees.
The quad coupe 3 will come standard with power windows, a remote keyless entry with alarm, power mirrors, cruise control, 16-inch alloy wheels and a CD/cassette player.The standard roof rails on the quad coupe 2 and quad coupe 3 are the same color as the vehicle. Contrasting colored rails are available at no extra charge.
The quad coupe, which has dual rear-access doors, recently went into production and is set to arrive at Saturn dealerships in April.
Saturn expects most Saturn buyers to choose quad coupe 2s that cost about $16,650 and quad coupe 3s that cost about $18,050 when equipped with options.
In 2004, Saturn will introduce a performance Ion quad coupe with a supercharged engine that produces more than 200 hp. The quad coupe 2 and quad coupe 3 each produce about 140 hp.
