STOCKHOLM -- Sweden's Volvo said on Thursday it expected its European markets share in trucks to rise to 17 percent in the first quarter of the year from around 14.5 from the fourth quarter, said the head of Volvo Trucks.
"We had a market share of around 17 percent in January and it sees like we'll remain there (for the quarter)," Jorma Halonen told Reuters.
But he repeated the group's outlook for a sales decline for the full year.
"The first quarter will be a bit stronger than usual, but towards the end of the year it will fall again. We have earlier said it will fall by three to four percent and there is no reason to change that view," Halonen said.
