TI Automotive Ltd. on Wednesday said it has won a $22-million contract to supply fuel lines to several future General Motors full-sized vehicles.
The Warren, Mich., supplier would not reveal the length of the contract or the names of the vehicles.
TI, which already supplies GM with brake lines, will produce as many as 200,000 fuel line systems annually for GM at its Mexico City plant. Production will start in 2005.
The company, a supplier of fluid storage, transfer and delivery systems, had an estimated $876 million in 2001 North American original equipment auto parts sales. It ranks No. 49 on Automotive News' list of the Top 150 original equipment parts suppliers to North America.
