A dispute between General Motors and its largest steel supplier is threatening to cut off shipments to the automaker.
AK Steel Corp. of Middletown, Ohio, accuses GM of failing to pay costs caused by late changes and extra quality tests on steel GM ordered. AK Steel has asked an Ohio court to allow it to stop shipments.
A GM spokeswoman says the automaker expects AK Steel to deliver the steel in accordance with the contract price.
AK Steel still is shipping steel to GM.
