LOS ANGELES -- Lincoln has partnered with Hearst Magazines and A&E Television Networks to promote its brand as a cultural icon.
Starting with July issues, Hearst Communications Inc. will publish a monthly supplement to some of its magazines called New Cultural Icons. It will feature trendsetters in areas such as fashion, film and music. Lincoln is the supplement's only advertiser.
Lincoln also will sponsor a week of A&E's "Biography" series under the icons theme.
And each month through December, Lincoln will sponsor a biography that fits the theme.
