ATLANTA -- Manheim Auctions is spending $100,000 on an advertising campaign that touts the benefits of buying and selling vehicles at wholesale auctions.
The ads promote the auction industry in general and not Manheim specifically.
The campaign includes two ads. One depicts a photo of an ancient sculpture and the other shows golf clubs that once belonged to President Kennedy.
The ads point out that the featured items garnered high prices during auctions. The ads debuted June 3 and are appearing in 11 automotive trade publications.
The campaign runs through December.
