TOLEDO, Ohio -- Dana Corp. has won two contracts with General Motors and partner Isuzu Motors Ltd.
Dana will supply structural modules to Isuzu for its D-Max pickup.
The business is Dana's Structural Solutions Group's first structural activity in the Asia-Pacific region. It has built a facility in Bangpakong, Thailand, to manufacture the modules for Isuzu's assembly facility in Bangkok.
The Thailand business will generate $375 million during the contract, which runs from the 2003 to 2009 model year. Dana also will supply axles, frames and driveshafts for GM's next generation of full-sized vans. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
