FIAT AUTO - Franck Ropert, a 32-year-old Frenchman, was named marketing director of Fiat Auto (UK).
Ropert (right) joined Fiat (Auto) France in 1994 as a management consultant. He held various sales and marketing roles before being appointed Fiat brand manager in 1997.
Roper has been working in Turin, Italy, for the past two years as a product strategy planner at Fiat Auto headquarters.
Meanwhile, Alfa Romeo appointed its first managing director for UK operations.
Glyn Owen, 46, will report direct to Turin rather than to Jim Blades, head of Fiat Auto (UK). Owen was managing director of Fiat Auto in Denmark.
DELPHI - Kazumi Nakada joined Delphi Europe as executive director, lean enterprise. He was executive director of the lean manufacturing group for General Motors Europe.
In his new job, Nakada, 49, will be responsible for implementing a lean business system throughout Delphi's European operations. He will be based in Zurich.
Nakada began his career with Toyota in 1970.
MERCEDES-BENZ - Norbert Litzkow left his job as vice president and board member for Mercedes-Benz Espana to take a new position in North America. Litzkow moves from Vitoria, Spain, to become vice president of finance, controlling and information technology at Mercedes-Benz USA.
