PARIS - Renault SA, which is deepening its alliance with Nissan Motor Co., said its Japanese partner will contribute 425 million euros, or about $398.1 million, to Renault's 2002 first-half profit. Nissan in May reported a record operating profit of $3.9 billion, up 68.5 percent, for the 12 months that ended March 31. Renault, which owns 44.4 percent of Nissan, will release its first-half results on July 25.
