ArvinMeritor on Tuesday said Craig Stinson will become senior vice president and president of the company's Light Vehicle Systems group pending the merger of two of the company's business units.
The Light Vehicle Systems group on June 1 will merge with ArvinMeritor Inc.'s exhaust business, which is run by Stinson. He will oversee strategic management of the company's passenger vehicle components, modules and systems business, as well as ArvinMeritor's exhaust, aperture and undercarriage business.
Stinson will take on the job that Terry O'Rourke previously handled as president of the LVS group. O'Rourke was named president and COO of ArvinMeritor on June 1.
Stinson started at ArvinMeritor in 1984 as sales account assistant for Arvin Industries. He took over the exhaust business as vice president in 1995.
