The 2002 Automotive Elastomers conference will be held June 18-19 in Dearborn, Mich.
Among the topics to be discussed are the use of recycled components in rubber formulations, O-ring seals in carbon dioxide refrigeration systems and materials being used to meet 2004 Low Emission Vehicle II standards.
Eighteen papers will be presented during the two-day event, which is sponsored by Rubber & Plastics News, a sister publication of Automotive News, and Cooper Standard Automotive.
Conference attendees also will be able to tour an exhibit area that will include booths from automotive rubber product manufacturers Cooper Standard Automotive, Trelleborg Automotive, BRC Rubber Group and Hutchinson Sealing. Exhibitors also include materials suppliers Lord Automotive, Bayer, PolyOne, Zeon Chemicals, DSM, Rohm and Haas, Uniroyal Chemical, Advanced Elastomer Systems, Dupont Dow elastomers, ChevronTexaco, Ausimont, Sartomer and Dyneon.
As part of the $495 early registration fee, conference delegates will receive a notebook/binder delegate pack, conference papers, complimentary lunch on June 19 and admission to the opening night cocktail reception.
