Ford Motor Co. announced on Friday that Jim O'Connor, Ford Division president, has been named group vice president for North American Marketing Sales and Service, overseeing Ford and Lincoln Mercury.
Steve Lyons, Ford Division general sales manager, will take over as Ford Division president May 1.
In his new role, O'Connor will report to Jim Padilla, group vice president of North America.
The automaker also announced Kathleen Ligocki's appointment as vice president for North American Marketing. She will report to O'Connor.
Ligocki as of May 1 will be responsible for global marketing, Ford of Mexico, Ford of Canada, worldwide direct marketing operations and Consumer Connect.
Now reporting to Ligocki:
