Suzuki Motor Corp. aims to increase sales in Europe by 60 percent by 2006, from 200,000 last year to 320,000, said Hirotaka Ono, board member for overseas markets. He said Suzuki's plant in Hungary that makes the Wagon R and Swift will add a third model by 2006. The company also wants to expand diesel sales. Ono said Suzuki may buy the engines from Fiat-GM Powertrain, or source more from PSA Group.
Big goal for small cars
