General Motors Vice Chairman Robert Lutz says he's broadening his horizons: After significantly altering GM North America's portfolio timing, he's starting to take a more global view. "I have begun to more deeply review GM product plans around the world," he said. But Mike Burns, president of GM Europe, said Lutz is unlikely to order the type of shakeups he did in the United States. GM Europe and Adam Opel AG frequently discuss plans and show vehicles to Lutz, Burns said, but Lutz suggests, rather than demands, changes.
