DETROIT — How do suppliers integrate innovative products into their business plans?
Three suppliers that have been honored by the Automotive News PACE Award program will discuss this and related issues at the Automotive News PACE Awards Innovation Findings next week.
The forum, sponsored by Automotive News and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, will run from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, as part of the SAE World Congress. It will be held in Room D2-08 of Detroit’s Cobo Center.
Representatives from Tenneco Automotive, which won an Automotive News PACE Award in 2001, and 2002 finalists Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and Robert Bosch Corp. will speak.
Scott Whitlock, an Automotive News PACE Awards judge and former head of Honda of America Manufacturing Inc., also will speak. He will discuss the judges’ criteria for innovations.
The free seminar is open to all registrants of the SAE World Congress as well as automaker employees. Additional information is available by visiting sae.org/congress and inserting PACE in the Search box. c
