Auto supplier American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings Inc. has new executives.
Alberto Satine joined the company as general manager of international operations. He will work at the Guanajuato, Mexico, plant. Satine had a 20-year career with Dana Corp. His most recent job was as president of Dana's affiliate C.A. Danaven in Valencia, Venezuela. Satine also had responsibilities for developing business opportunities and maintaining joint ventures in Venezuela, Colombia and Ecuador.
'Alberto's knowledge of plant operations, commercial requirements and customer needs on an international level is exceptional,' said American Axle CEO and Chairman Richard E. Dauch. 'The wealth of his experience in Latin America will be invaluable.'

Donald Joseph is plant manager for Guanajuato Gear & Axle. Joseph joined the company in 1994 as the manufacturing area manager at American Axle's Three Rivers Driveline operations in Three Rivers, Michigan. He had been manufacturing manager at Detroit Gear & Axle.
Gerald Coster is plant manager at Buffalo Gear, Axle & Linkage in Buffalo, New York. Coster had been manufacturing manager at Detroit Gear & Axle and most recently at Buffalo Gear, Axle & Linkage. He began his automotive career at the former Chrysler Corp. He joined American Axle in 1994 as a corporate manufacturing engineer.
Bruce Moorehouse is president & COO of MSP Industries in Oxford, Michigan, a subsidiary. Moorehouse had been vice president of Operations/North America Transmissions Systems for BorgWarner Automotive Inc.
John Sofia becomes plant manager for Detroit Forge. He had been director, manufacturing engineering. Sofia joined American Axle in March 1994 as an area manager at Detroit Gear & Axle after a 10-year career with Chrysler.
