Is it possible? Could a station wagon be in Jaguar's future?
It's 'a real possibility,' admits Mike O'Driscoll, president of Jaguar Cars North America. Speaking to automotive journalists in Washington, D.C., in April, O'Driscoll said the car would be sporty. And it would be a variation of the X-Type, the small sedan debuting Aug. 1.
So is a sport-utility in the future as well?
'Absolutely and totally, the answer is no,' O'Driscoll emphasized. Asked if Jaguar's bigger lineup and higher volumes threaten the brand's exclusivity, he said 'There are a lot of buyers we don't want.'
