The Lincoln Town Car gets significant changes for the 2002 model year. To allow space for a taller 300-hp, 4.6-liter V-8, the hood line has been raised and the front end restyled. The grille becomes smaller. The rear end is revamped to create a taller and larger trunk, something the livery business has wanted. Other changes include the addition of 17-inch wheels and a suspension that gives the car better handling and control.
