JAGUAR NORTH AMERICA - Javelyn Ibarra Baldwin to cultural marketing manager. She will be responsible for diversity marketing in vehicle launches and marketing initiatives. Baldwin was a market representation specialist for Infiniti, where she was responsible for dealership development and minority dealer candidate recruiting. She also held several positions in marketing, new media, advertising and consumer affairs.
VOLKSWAGEN OF AMERICA INC. - Keith Jones to corporate diversity leader. Jones will focus on the diversification of the Audi and Volkswagen retail networks, customer bases, suppliers and work force in the United States and Canada. He also will lead and continue to develop diversity strategy, policy and programs. Jones had several commercial and diversity related assignments with Shell Oil Co., in Houston, most recently as manager of supplier diversity.
GMAC - Christopher Rutkowski, vice president of national accounts and chief risk officer for GMAC Financial Services, was appointed to the additional position of chief credit officer. In his new capacity as vice president of risk management and as chief credit officer, Rutkowski will be responsible for GMAC's national accounts, enterprise risk management and credit analysis. He has been with GMAC since 1981.
Jeffrey McLeod, vice president of National Dealer Accounts, has assumed additional responsibilities as vice president of National Accounts. From 1981 to 1993 and prior to joining GMAC, McLeod held managerial positions at the Motors Holding Division of General Motors. He joined GMAC in 1993 as director of National Accounts.
Walter Maeder, vice president of Business Operations and chief credit officer, retired from GMAC on Jan. 1, after 37 years of service. He will continue to serve as a special consultant to GMAC during 2001 to guide vehicle remarketing initiatives. GMAC is a unit of General Motors.
LOGICA INC. - Michael Rinderle to director of automotive sales. He was the sales manager for Applied Data Management, a technology sales and marketing company geared toward the Midwest U.S. automotive markets.
