DETROIT - General Motors and the Chrysler group have revised the rebates on several models.
The givebacks on the Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee have been raised to $1,500 from $1,000.
GM cut the payout to $1,250 from $1,500 on the Chevrolet Cavalier and Pontiac Sunfire. The automaker also dropped the $1,000 rebate on the Chevrolet Blazer and GMC Jimmy four-doors.
The payment has been hiked to $1,500 from $1,000 on the Chevy Prizm and to $2,500 from $2,000 on the Buick Park Avenue Ultra.
New GM rebates are $500 on the Chevy S10/T10 and GMC Sonoma Crew Cabs and $500 on the Chevy Camaro and Pontiac Firebird V-8s. GM is offering a $1,000 rebate on the Pontiac Aztek.
