Punto UK eruption
Fiat is promoting its Punto in the UK with a television advertisement that shows the car driving away from an erupting volcano.
Created by advertising agency DMB&B UK, the commercial shows the Punto traveling through a destructive scene of molten rocks, volcanic ash and lava flows.
The commercial aims to demonstrate the the car's performance, robustness and agility. It ends with the slogan: 'Punto: A safe car in a dangerous world.'
PARIS - The Museum of Advertising in Paris is now housing Citroen, An Advertising Saga. The exhibition, located next to the Musee du Louvre, has an orange Citroen DS bursting out of the wall above its main entrance.
Citroen has made available its massive catalog of historic photographs, film footage, classic posters, brochures and press advertisements for the display, which runs until January 28.
BIRMINGHAM, England - Ford is advertising its new Mondeo on a giant PVC banner draped across an entire wall of the Dunlop building here. The Dunlop building is located alongside the M6 motorway that runs through Birmingham.
Covering more than 6,000 square meters and weighing two tonnes, the poster will dominate the M6 skyline for the next six months.
The poster carries the slogan: 'Built to lead.'

CHERRY HILL, New Jersey, USA - Subaru of America has introduced a new [email protected] area of its subaru.com website.
It will first offer owners of 2000 and 2001 models the ability to make dealer service appointments via e-mail and get recall data online. Owners of older models will be added in the first quarter.
Subaru updated its website last summer with more direct links to dealers and dealer vehicle prices. The upgrade resulted in a 400 percent jump in e-mail requests for vehicle prices and a 36 percent rise in site traffic.
