Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., Renault SA and Stanley Electric Co. Ltd. are the winners of this year's Automotive Shareholder Value Awards presented by Automotive News and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The annual awards will be presented Wednesday, Jan. 17, at the Automotive News World Congress in Detroit.
The awards are given to companies that show the largest improvement in shareholder value for 2000 and the three-year period of 1998-2000, as measured by the Automotive News/PricewaterhouseCoopers Total Shareholder Return Index. Nissan won for its performance in 2000, and Renault won for 1998-2000. Stanley Electric won for both periods.
