Charlie Hughes, installed as president of Mazda North American Operations in the fall, has made some changes to the management team:
Stephen Odell, 45, has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer. Earlier this year, Ford Motor Co. moved him from his former position at Jaguar Cars North America to head Mazda's sales and marketing efforts as a vice president. Responsibilities now will include sales, marketing, customer service and parts.
Fred Ehlers, 46, has been promoted to vice president of sales operations from director of sales operations. He has been with Mazda nine years in various management positions and now will be responsible for sales planning, dealer development, vehicle distribution and regional sales.
Gordon Dickie, 48, is the new vice president of service and parts, replacing Duke Hale, who has resigned. Dickie has been with Mazda seven years, most recently heading its North American research and development division. He also helped restructure the company's engineering, manufacturing and supply division.
