General Motors is developing a successor to the Saab 9-3 that will share a platform with the next Opel Vectra. The car, pictured in this computer-enhanced image, may be introduced at the Geneva auto show in 2002. The 9-3 successor will be built on GM's new front-wheel-drive Epsilon platform. Although Saab is expected to use a shortened version of the platform, the new 9-3 will be longer and wider than the current 9-3.
