Honda rolls into the Detroit auto show in January with previews of a replacement for the Acura Integra and a new mini sport-utility/truck combination. The Acura RS-X concept, top left, based on the new Honda Civic platform, closely resembles the coupe that replaces the Integra next fall and likely will wear an RS badge. The Civic platform also could spawn a vehicle based on the Model X concept. Designed to appeal to young males, the Model X, above, includes 'suicide' style doors, a tailgate and a rear roof section that slides forward to create an open cargo area. A production version may arrive for the 2004 model year.
