In the rough? The Screen Actors Guild, which represents actors in the United States, fined Buick spokesman Tiger Woods $100,000 for working on a TV commercial during its six-month strike, which ended October 22.
The union's trial board agreed to suspend $50,000 of the fine. But the full penalty will be levied if golf champion Woods works during future strikes, according to the entertainment trade paper Daily Variety. The decision came after a three-day trial board hearing.
