Dennis Berry, president and CEO of Manheim Auctions Inc., has been named president and CEO of Manheim's parent company, Cox Enterprises of Atlanta.
Dean Eisner, vice president of business development at Cox, has been named to Berry's former position.
Both promotions are effective Jan. 1.
Berry, 56, will oversee Manheim Auctions, Cox Newspapers Inc. and corporate headquarters groups that include financial operations, marketing, human resources and corporate communications.
Eisner, 42, has been instrumental in several Manheim projects, including the acquisition of ADT Automotive Inc. this month, and launches of Manheim Interactive Inc., Manheim's Internet company; and online classified used-car site AutoTrader.com Manheim is the nation's largest auto auction chain.
