The 2002 Cadillac Catera shown here rides on General Motors' new Sigma rear-drive platform and will be built in Lansing, Mich. The car's vertically stacked headlights and large chevron-shaped grille with wide slats are derived from the current DeVille. But as Cadillac's art and science theme moves forward, expect the '02 Catera's sheet metal to have many of the sharp creases and angular edges of both the Evoq and Cadillac 2000 show cars. Power will come from a derivative of the Opel 3.0-liter V-6, increased in displacement to 3.2 liters.
