DETROIT - Dodge priced its 2001 Ram full-sized pickups and raised prices on most of its 2000 cars and light trucks.
Stickers are up $255 on all 2001 Ram pickups except the 1500 two-wheel-drive models, which are unchanged.
On Dodge's 2000 cars, increases are $30 on the Neon, $80 on the Avenger, $155 on the Stratus and $150 to $155 on the Intrepid. A top-of-the-line Intrepid R/T sedan has been added at $24,995, including the $560 destination charge.
The freight fee on the Avenger and Stratus has been raised $5 to $550.
Dodge Caravan and Grand Caravan minivans are up $165, and the Durango sport-utility has jumped $195. Ram conversion and passenger vans are up $190. The biggest increase on the 2000 models is $280 on the Dakota Quad Cab.
DaimlerChrysler is paying customer rebates of $1,000 on the 2000-model Dodge Neon, Avenger and Intrepid, and $1,250 on Dodge minivans.
Automotive News estimates that the increases have added $91 to the average price of a Dodge car and light truck.
