Chevrolet called the Avalanche pickup a one-of-a-kind concept when the vehicle was revealed at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this month. But insiders say - and this photo shows - that Chevy's new top-of-the-line pickup, which goes into production a year from now, is nearly identical to the Avalanche. In fact, the only noticeable difference between the Avalanche and the prototype snapped here is the design of the front headlamp lenses.
