DETROIT - George Perry, president and CEO of Sie-mens Automotive Corp. since 1993, announced that he will retire at the end of the month.
Perry, 55, joined the Siemens automotive group in 1975 and became vice president and general manager of the Fuel Systems Components Division in 1987.
Franz Wressnigg, Siemens Automotive Corp. board chairman and president of the Automotive Systems Group of Siemens AG, will assume Perry's duties. Wressnigg has been president of Siemens Automotive's worldwide operations since 1993. He will divide his time between Siemens' world headquarters in Regensburg, Germany, and its North American offices in Auburn Hills, Mich.
