DETROIT - James Olson, senior vice president for external and regulatory affairs at Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc., has been elected chairman of the Automotive Hall of Fame.
Olson succeeds Tho-mas Feely, vice president of marketing at Dana Corp.
Before he joined Toyota, Olson held several public relations management positions at Ford Motor Co., including sales operations news manager for Ford's North American Operations. He is also on the executive committee of the Alliance of Automotive Manufacturers.
The Automotive Hall of Fame board also elected two directors, Paul Alandt and Neil DeKoker. Alandt is chairman of Eastview Holdings Inc., an investment and financial consulting firm in Harper Woods, Mich. DeKoker is managing director of the Original Equipment Suppliers Association, an affiliate of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association.
The Automotive Hall of Fame is in Dearborn, Mich.
