Ads for the 2000 Pontiac Bonneville are blanketing high-traffic commuter centers in New York, Chicago and Philadelphia. The ads from D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles debuted Friday, Oct. 1, on clocks, floors, transit platforms, kiosks, rafter banners and billboards. Pontiac continues the 'Luxury with attitude' tag started in 1997 but adds product information. Similar magazine ads and TV commercials break, respectively, this week and later this month. The Bonneville got $14.5 million in measured media last year, says Competitive Media Reporting.
