Three leaders in the information technology world will be the keynote speakers at the first of two Automotive News Retail Technology Forums.
The speakers are:
Joel Kocher, CEO of Micron Electronics Inc., a leading direct vendor of computing solutions and services. Kocher is a former president of Power Computing and also a former president of worldwide marketing, sales and service for Dell Computer.
James McQuivey, senior analyst at Forrester Research, which forecasts trends in online consumer behavior, including new-car buying.
Richard Marino, president of CNET Inc., where he oversees the company's online publishing and TV units. He is the former CEO of PC World magazine.
The Automotive News Retail Technology Forum West will be held Nov. 9-10, 1999, at the Hyatt Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, Ariz. The event is designed to educate dealer principals about the role of technology in their business. In addition to industry experts, the forum will feature breakout sessions on specific subjects as well as technology camps.
