Kia's new subcompact sedan, the Avella/B-III, will go on sale in the United States as a 2001 model. These unauthorized photos show prototypes undergoing tests in the Southwest. The design includes stylish headlights and taillights, and a sloping beltline that ties together the low, sloping hood and the high trunk. Power is expected to come from a 1.5- or 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine.
