SAO PAULO, Brazil - Antonio Maciel has been named president of Ford Brazil. He was president of Grupo Iitamarati, a heavy-construction, agriculture-industrial and railway transportation conglomerate in Brazil.
Maciel succeeds Ivan Fonseca e Silva, 48, who was named vice president of strategy and business operations for Ford South American Operations. Silva was president of Ford Brazil for five years.
Two other positions at Ford South American Operations have been filled.
Daniel Moran was named finance director. He was finance director for Ford-Argentina.
Ivan Witt was named purchasing director. He was a logistics manager for Ford of Europe.
