Consumers may buy new vehicles through Carclub.com in four ways.
A free service allows customers to specify a particular model. The vehicle request is forwarded to the participating Carclub.com dealer nearest the consumer. The dealer provides the customer with a no-haggle quote.
A personal shopper locates the desired vehicle and negotiates the deal, along with any trade-in. If state laws allow, the consumer need only sign the paperwork and may take delivery at home. The fee is $249.
A quick-quote service shops a vehicle bid at three participating dealers. Dealers provide a no-haggle quote. The fee is $165.
For vehicles not on a dealer's lot, Carclub.com will submit a consumer's vehicle order to a participating dealer who will submit the order to the factory. This service is available only for General Motors, Ford Motor Co., and DaimlerChrysler cars and trucks, and not all models are covered. The fee is $249.
