CarLink project participants may choose to be one of three types of vehicle users
1. Homeside users drive between home and the rapid-transit station
2. Workside users drive between the rapid-transit station to work at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
3. Day users drive on work or personal trips to and from work at the lab
