Automotive News will celebrate this growth market at its second New American Manufacturing Conference May 24-26 at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel in Nashville, Tenn. The theme: 'Where the World's Automotive Community Meets.'
The three-day conference, which is co-sponsored by Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group, will bring together the companies that are adding new dimensions to the U.S. industry.
J.T. Battenberg III, CEO of the world's largest automotive supplier, Delphi Automotive Systems, will be the keynote dinner speaker on Monday, May 24. Delphi has developed business ties with the new American automakers and their suppliers through both direct sales and partnerships.
Saturn Corp. CEO Cynthia Trudell, one of the highest-ranking female executives in the industry, will speak Tuesday morning, May 25. Trudell will direct the Spring Hill, Tenn., automaker through an era of new products and manufacturing expansion.

More speakers will be announced in the coming weeks. The conference runs from dinner on May 24 through dinner on May 25, with breakout sessions available on the morning of May 26.
