DELCO REMY INTERNATIONAL INC. - Richard Stanley to president of subsidiary Delco Remy America. He was senior vice president there.
Stanley has worked at the former Delco Remy Division of General Motors since 1978.
His positions have included European chief engineer, and both manager of the Powertrain customer support group and director of customer program management at the sales office in Troy, Mich.
He will continue to serve as the general manager of the Automotive Systems Division.
Roderick English to senior vice president of human resources and communications. He was senior vice president of human resources and communications for Delco Remy America.
John Gladney to Delco Remy America vice president of manufacturing operations. He was manager of the Meridian, Miss., plant.
Kelly Bischoff to corporate director of Delco Remy America human resources and labor relations. He was director of labor relations for the Bath Iron Works subsidiary of General Dynamics Corp.
Delco Remy International, of Anderson, Ind., supplies starting motors for automotive, light-truck and heavy-duty vehicles.
Its products include transmissions, engines, traction control systems, powertrains/drivetrains and related components. Delco Remy America also is in Anderson.
BORG-WARNER AUTOMOTIVE INC. - Robert Welding to executive vice president. He will continue as president and general manager of Borg-Warner Automotive Automatic Transmission Systems, based in Lombard, Ill.
Borg-Warner Automotive, of Chicago, supplies highly engineered components and systems for automotive drivetrain applications.
COOPER TIRE & RUBBER CO. - Thomas Dattilo, 47, to president and COO, a newly created position. He was president of the sealing products group of Dana Corp.
Philip Weaver to vice president and CFO. He was vice president and controller of Cooper's tire operations. He succeeds J. Alec Reinhardt, who has retired.
Cooper Tire & Rubber, of Findlay, Ohio, supplies tires.
DENMAN TIRE CORP. - Charles Wright, 57, CEO and president, was named 1998 Executive of the Year by Rubber & Plastics News, a sister publication to Automotive News.
Wright was lauded for turning Denman Tire from a weak company with zero profits in 1993 into a robust enterprise with $70 million in sales for 1997.
Denman is a tire and rubber manufacturer based in Leavittsburg, Ohio.
TEXTRON AUTOMOTIVE CO. - Jed Larsen to president of the CWC Castings Division, based in Muskegon, Mich. He was vice president of marketing and sales since 1990.
From 1983 to 1990, Larsen, 57, was vice president of manufacturing.
He succeeds John Kelly, 62, who is retiring. He had served as the division's president since 1983.
Textron Automotive, of Troy, Mich., supplies interior and exterior trim and functional components.
BOZELL WORLDWIDE INC. - Michelle Hall-Brown to account supervisor for DaimlerChrysler Corp.'s Chrysler/Plymouth/Jeep Dealer Advertising Association account in Phoenix.
She had been a senior account executive.
Bozell Worldwide, which is based in New York, is an advertising agency.
