The head of BMW's South Carolina assembly plant will be the kickoff speaker at a Society of Manufacturing Engineers conference this month.
Norbert Reithofer, president of BMW Manufacturing Corp. in Spartanburg County, will discuss BMW's future and its vision for building cars.
He will speak Jan. 26 at the Society of Manufacturing Engineers' SOUTH-TEC Greenville Advanced Productivity Exposition.
The event runs Jan. 26-28 at the Palmetto Expo Center in Greenville, S.C. The exposition will feature the latest machine tool and metalworking technologies for automotive and other manufacturers.
