The Chrysler Citadel, a concept car that will be shown at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, is a double hybrid. First, its styling is a cross between a sedan (the Chrysler 300M) and a luxury sport-utility. It also has a hybrid powertrain. A traditional 3.5-liter V-6 engine drives the rear wheels, and battery-powered electric motors drive the front wheels. The concept emphasizes performance rather than economy; the V-6 provides 253 hp, and the electric motors deliver an additional 70 hp. The media days of the show begin Sunday, Jan. 3.
