Pontiac's Bonneville will receive a redesign and a new powertrain for the 2000 model year. The new car will be built off a platform adapted from the 1998 Cadillac Seville platform, which also will be shared with the 2000 Buick LeSabre and the 2000 Oldsmobile Aurora. This spy photo shows that the 2000 Bonneville's styling will undergo an evolutionary transition, similar to the changes Pontiac made with the redesigned Grand Am. The windshield posts on the redesigned Bonneville have a steep angle, and the headlights will be round projector types. Under the hood will be GM's new double-overhead-cam, 3.5-liter V-6.
