The Honda Capa subcompact wagon is the first of the 'J-mover' series shown at the 1997 Tokyo Motor Show to come to market. Aimed at the same segment as the successful Mazda Demio and Nissan Cube, the Capa is 148.6 inches long, 65 inches tall and 64.6 inches wide. Honda aims for sales of 6,000 a month in Japan at prices beginning at ¥1.398 million, or about $10,755 at current exchange rates. It will not be exported. The car is available in any interior color - so long as it's gray. It is powered by a 16-valve, 1.5-liter gasoline engine mated to Honda's Multi Matic continuously variable transmission.
